ABOUT
I’m Alexander Mart — AMART.
Tattoo artist, illustrator, writer, and origin-seeker.
I build work that feels lived-in. Vintage clarity. Story over spectacle.
I specialize in black and grey illustrative realism with a style that sits somewhere between memory and myth — what people now call Ghostalt. It’s the line between illustration and realism, the place where texture becomes emotion and simplicity becomes longevity.
For over a decade I’ve been known for Mickey-era work, classic portraiture, and a belief that the best pieces come from trust, not control. I don’t force designs into boxes. I let the work become what it wants to be. That’s the core of everything I do — art, writing, tattooing, even recovery.
In 2022, my health collapsed. Anemia rewired how I saw, felt, and thought. I spent years unraveling without knowing why. Coming out of it gave me a second life — a second puberty — where cognition, creativity, and identity all snapped back into place.
That moment built the foundation for my current work: Bedrock, Mind Lattice, Spiral Cognition, and the books that grew from them.
Now, everything I create comes from a place of clarity.
No noise. No pretending. No chasing trends.
I tattoo, I write, I teach, and I build frameworks for people who want to reconnect with themselves — the version underneath the depletion.
This website is the hub for all of it:
the art, the philosophy, the stories, the drops, and the next evolution of AMART.

Always moving. Always building. Always telling the truth.
